Thank you for your enquiry.
I was unable to provide a reference list of evidence when you contacted us last November. As mentioned in our previous correspondence, the guidance is based on the consensus of an expert panel which was temporarily formed for this purpose; the evidence they used to form their individual opinions was not collated.
You may wish to contact the Society of Endocrinology and the British Thyroid Association if you haven't already.
