Ask For Evidence showcases in Manchester!
We hear daily claims about what is good for our health, bad for the environment, how to improve education, cut crime, treat disease or improve agriculture. Some are based on reliable evidence and scientific rigour. Many are not.
To coincide with the British Science Association Science Communication Conference, Dr Chris Peters from the Ask for Evidence campaign at Sense About Science will be giving a short talk on how you can hold politicians, companies and public figures to account. He will be joined by Voice of Young Science (VoYS) members who will give their personal experiences on asking for evidence.
When? Wednesday 17th June 3-4pm.
Where? Salutation, 12 Higher Chatham Street, M15 6ED Manchester
