Study linking dogs' playtime and disobedience
"A study of 4000 dog owners has found a clear link between limited playtime and behaviour problems, such as being nervous when left alone, disobedience and snapping at other animals." http://dailym.ai/1wTdhOc
Update 2014-12-15
Dr Blackwell replied to my email almost right away. She said:
"The study that you refer to and that has been mentioned in the press today has not yet been completed or published and the press coverage refers to our preliminary examination of the data so far, which shows an association (not causal relationship!) between the amount of time owners report that they spend playing with their dog and the number of reported potentially problematic behaviours (from a list of 22) that they report.
"I will be happy to share the information with you once it is prepared for publication."
