Ask for Evidence is coming to Winchester
Politicians, companies, commentators and official bodies make a lot of claims about what is good for our health, bad for our environment, how to improve education and cut crime. But not all of these claims are based on reliable evidence and scientific rigour. If they want us to vote for them, believe them or buy their products, then we as consumers, voters and citizens should Ask for Evidence.
Dr Chris Peters from the Ask for Evidence campaign at Sense About Science will be talking about how you can hold politicians, companies and public figures to account by asking for evidence.
When? Thursday 27th August 2015, 7:30pm
Where? Winchester Discovery Centre, Jewry Street, SO23 8SB, Winchester
